Sakkara pyramids
The pyramid was built by zoser, the first king of the dynasty to III. This pyramid is located in the Sakkara area, 27 km from central Cairo.

Giza pyramids

Cheops
This pyramid is the largest pyramid of the three pyramids that line, built by Cheops, king of the dynasty to IV. This pyramid was built (2690 BC) in the area of 13 acres. Tall pyramid was originally 146 meters, but now only 136 m. It is caused by erosion at its peak. The number of stones is around 2.5 million cubic meters.

Chevren
The pyramid was built by Chevren, son of King Cheops to the year 2650 BC. This high pyramid reaches 136 m. The length of each side 214 m. Number of stones on the pyramid is approximately 2.2 million cubic meters.

Menkaura
The pyramid was built by Menkaura, son of Chevren. It was built in 2600 BC. The height is only 62 meters; the length of each side is coated with granite only 104 m.

Sphinx
Sphinx is a huge ancient statue, body of a lion and a human face. The statue is 70 meters long and 20 meters high. Sphinx and the three large pyramids, is included in one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
